Pure Timber manufactures Cold-Bend hardwoods for Extreme Wood Bending. Using our proprietary products and other fabrication techniques, we produce yacht interiors primarily when radius work is required. We also sell the raw material to restorers and fabricators, and also take on restoration projects and re-fits to complete in-house or off-site.

Cold-Bend hardwood (Compressed Wood, Compwood) bends to extreme radii, well beyond what can be accomplished with steam bending. No heat is required to work with it, and no backing straps, even for extreme radii. This material offers unique opportunities for restoration of heritage boats, interiors of yachts and for new and rapid production techniques in new boat building. We use White Oak when decay resistance is required. Yacht interiors can employ any of our compressed hardwoods.
