Pure Timber makes musical instrument parts under the brand name "Pure Timbre". We make musical instrument parts that can benefit from our ability to bend thick solid wood into tightly curved shapes. For instance, our snare drum shells made for Drum Workshop are a completely new category of snare drum. The thick solid walls creates an instrument that couldn't otherwise exist in solid wood. Benefits include increased pitch and volume, with no deadening effects in the sound quality from glue laminations.

Similarly, our stringed instrument sides can be made very thick, so that no bracing or kerfing is required, making the build simpler, and gaining sound benefits that some luthiers desire with stiff sides.
