Bending Handrail for 24"+ radii, 8 foot x 3.0" x 1.0" priced per foot

Laminate your bent curved handrail in two or three layers with these planks. Use 2 of these planks for up to 2" thick handrail, and 3 planks for up to 3" thick handrail. This handrail can bend to radii as tight as 24". For tighter bends, see our Extreme Bending Handrail. These planks are for slightly more gentle bending than what our Extreme wood bending planks can accomplish. These planks will cost you less than the Extreme bending planks. Order as many linear feet as needed, and they will ship in up to 8' planks. For up to 2" handrail order quantity 2 x ln ft which will be 2 x $30/ln ft = $60/ln ft total. For up to 3" handrail order quantity 3 x ln ft which will be 3x$30/ln ft = $90/ ln ft total.

Four steps: Bend, dry, glue up, sand. If desired, the material can be shaped before bending while it is still a straight plank. Join as many as needed for your length, and consider staggering your glue joint for long runs rather than using rail bolts. This is compressed elm, ash, hackberry, sugarberry, red oak, or white oak. Maple and Cherry are usually also available at a higher price.
