Ready for cold bending. This is for a single ply, or solid bentwood banjo rim. There are no laminations to interfere with pitch or volume of sound. Dimensions: Plank size is 1" x 3" x 36". You will need to create the scarf joint and bend on a form with a diameter of 9 to 9 1/4". We use steel forms, but you can use plywood. Dry the part on the form to fix the shape. Glue up scarf joint with wood glue, or epoxy. Will finish on a lathe at .75" x 11" x 2.5".
