Renovo BYOB Bike Frame Build Package

BYOB = Build Your Own Bike in 20-40 hours

This complete kit includes all the essentials to build one Renovo Frame in your choice of size, style and wood species. Just add your own show wood decking (also available from us). All wood bending is complete and the mostly built frame is already in the exact geometry required. Seat stays and chain stays are pre-built, installed on the frame and aligned to our custom drop outs. Your frame ships ready for show wood decking, shaping, sanding and finishing. There is a $1,500 BYOB kit available to experienced builders, or high volume builders. Please contact christo@renovo.bike to discuss. There is also an eRenovo option which adds $1,000 for the frame plus about $2,000 for electric components. The eRenovo is more challenging to complete and not recommended for your first build.

Unique sequential serial number badge permanently installed and identifies this build as a licensed Renovo

Custom Renovo CNC machined and anodized aluminum dropouts, aligned and installed

Carbon Fiber seat post tube 27.2 mm aligned and installed

Chain stays, installed

Proprietary compressed wood bent and built into the main triangle frame components. Choose from Walnut, Cherry, Maple, Ash, Oak or Elm

Paper or digital templates for form layout and alignment

Show wood for the frame decking that you will saw, hollow, shape, bond and sand. Choose from Sycamore, Walnut, Cherry, Maple, Ash, Oak or Elm, usually in a contrasting color to the bent wood components.
